D Evans, as he always called himself, loved his sport and politics, a man with so much energy and desire. A loving husband, father and grandfather, a successful businessman filled with a love of life, passed away on the 21st October 2008 with a disease called Lung Fibrosis. As a family, we have set up the Breath of Life Fund to build awareness of the disease and raise money for research into this as yet incurable illness. As you can see we have nearly reached our target of £50,000. We have a fantastic team of friends and family who have committed so much time and effort to help raise our target. We have so far run the Great North Run, New York Marathon, London Marathon 2011 and will be running London Marathon 2012 on April 22nd, the day before my father's birthday. Even though we have nearly achieved our target, we are looking to double it. All the money raised goes towards research into Lung Fibrosis, a disease that i'm afraid to say claims more lives every year. We want to make a difference and give someone else a chance so please if you can support the Team every little bit counts!!. Thank You, Amanda Evans
